DESIGN CONCEPT Inspired by the rich culture and distinctive artistry in the region, the idea behind the concept is to create space that will reflect the cultural heritage through of the design by integrating abundance of details. Bringing the cultural value to the modern space creates a fusion of modernity which adds more meaning to the design.
DESIGN LANGUAGE Admiring the natural setting of this site, the design language is to make evident the transparency and the openness of the villa; A space which invites to the outdoor landscape by escorting graciously through the living space. The main objective of the villa is to provide a luxury living condition while preserving the quality and state of tranquility. The design base for that is to have consistency of simple and elegant interiors with an embellishment of of traditional details in to furniture and accessories. Focusing all attributes to views and spatial experience, it provides an unique hospitable experience in each area with its functionality.

DESIGN IN DETAIL Located in Doluwa, Central province of Sri Lanka, the Villa lies on a mountainous terrain. The site is surrounded by historically important cities such as Gampola, Kandy & Peradeniya. The villa consists 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a living area, a dining area, a kitchen, an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a rooftop lounge. Considering the limited indoor spaces available, the villa is designed in a way to spend more time outdoors indulging the panoramic views of the natural landscape that surrounds the site.
