The interior design for this project was inspired by the Bohemian and Contemporary styles, with a focus on creating a calm and natural ambience. A neutral color palette, minimal textures, and subtle materials were used to create a serene environment, while organic shapes were incorporated throughout the design to provide a consistent rhythm. The design objective was to provide comfort and create a peaceful zone while also accommodating the clients’ lifestyle and personal tastes.
Living Area with Indoor Courtyard:
The living area was designed with a central indoor courtyard, which was surrounded by large windows that let in plenty of natural light. This focal point of the living area was intended to create a bright and airy atmosphere and provide a connection to nature. The indoor courtyard was also designed to be a peaceful and tranquil space where the clients could relax and enjoy some time alone.
Open-Plan Dining and Kitchen:
The dining and kitchen were designed to blend seamlessly together, creating an open-plan living space. The kitchen was designed with functionality in mind, incorporating ample storage and workspace to make meal preparation and clean-up easy. The dining area was designed to be both functional and stylish, with a large dining table that could seat many guests.
Comfortable Bedrooms:
The three bedrooms were designed with comfort in mind, each having its own unique character and style, while still maintaining the overall theme of the design. Soft, comfortable bedding and plush furnishings were used to create a cozy atmosphere, while the neutral color palette and organic shapes provided a calming effect. The bedrooms also featured large windows that let in plenty of natural light, providing a connection to the outside world.
Elegant Bathrooms:
The four bathrooms were designed to be functional yet elegant, with a neutral color palette, subtle textures, and minimal materials. The design was intended to provide a sense of serenity, with organic shapes incorporated into the design to create a consistent rhythm. The bathrooms were equipped with modern fixtures and ample storage to make getting ready in the morning a breeze.
Completion and Client Satisfaction:
The project was completed in January 2023, with the clients extremely satisfied with the result. The design achieved their vision of a calm and comfortable living space, providing them with a peaceful retreat from the stresses of daily life. The neutral color palette, minimal textures, and subtle materials were used to create a serene atmosphere, while the organic shapes and addition of plants brought the space to life. The clients were pleased with the functional design of each area, which accommodated their lifestyle and personal taste. The indoor courtyard, open-plan dining and kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, elegant bathrooms, cozy TV lounge, and functional laundry room all worked together to create a harmonious and cohesive design. The end result was a space that was both stylish and functional, providing the clients with a place to relax, entertain, and live their daily lives with ease.
